Welcome to our world. We are Roberta and Enrico, and what you see here is not a glossy showcase, it is our real life, the one that happens every day between the kitchen, the garden and the breakfast table.
Being hosts means getting up early to bake a cake that is still warm, it means knowing every corner of Turin so we can tell those who come from afar about it, it means carefully choosing Kissabel apples from Verzuolo at the piazza Borromini market or bringing saffron home from our travels because the supermarket kind just isn't enough.
We are not looking for perfection, we are looking for authenticity. The kind you feel in a chat over breakfast, in a tip on where to eat like a true Turinese, in Ridge coming by to purr without asking permission.
Follow us on Instagram to see what happens around here every day: new recipes, glimpses of hidden Turin, moments of real life, including the ones where Enrico covers his face when I try to snap him like a paparazza 😄
Being hosts also means being selective. We seek out Callebaut chocolate for a caprese cake that melts in your mouth, we choose Langhe IGP Tonda Gentile hazelnuts for our brut ma bun, those Piedmontese biscuits that are ugly on the outside and delicious inside and vanish from the plate before the guests have even sat down. Every ingredient has a story, and that story ends up on the plate you find on your table in the morning.
We look forward to seeing you at breakfast. 💛
